 Knicks tenure: 2006–2008

 Drafted 29th overall by the Knicks in 2006. A defensive-minded guard/forward who played two seasons in New York before being traded to the Clippers.

 🎂 Patrick Ewing – Born August 5, 1962

 Knicks tenure: 1985–2000

 Franchise legend and Hall of Famer. Eleven-time All-Star, Rookie of the Year in 1986, and the team’s all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocks, and games played. Led New York to two NBA Finals appearances (1994, 1999).

 🎂 Frank Mangiapane – Born August 5, 1925

 Knicks tenure: 1946–1947

A guard for the Knicks in their inaugural BAA season. Played in 9 games before retiring from professional basketball.

🎂 Fred Christ – Born August 6, 1930

 Knicks tenure: 1954–1955

 Played 6 games as a guard during the mid-1950s before leaving the league. Known more for his college play at NYU.

 🎂 Rick Bullock – Born August 9, 1954

 Knicks connection: Drafted 1976, 4th round

 A standout at Texas Tech who was drafted by the Knicks but never played an NBA regular-season game.
