🎂 Kenny “Sky” Walker – Born August 18, 1964

Knicks tenure: 1986–1991
Summary: Drafted 5th overall in 1986, the high-flying forward became a fan favorite for his athleticism and slam-dunking ability. Won the 1989 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, famously dedicating the victory to his late father. Played five seasons with New York before finishing his career overseas and returning briefly to the NBA.

🎂 Jeremy Lin – Born August 23, 1988

Knicks tenure: 2011–2012
Summary: A global sensation during the “Linsanity” run in February 2012, Lin went from end-of-the-bench point guard to leading the Knicks on a remarkable winning streak. His meteoric rise brought international attention to Madison Square Garden. Though his Knicks stint lasted just 35 games, it left one of the most iconic legacies in franchise history.

🎂 Bob Anderegg – Born August 24, 1937

Knicks tenure: 1959–1960
Summary: Drafted in the 3rd round of the 1959 NBA Draft, the small forward/shooting guard played 33 games for the Knicks in his lone NBA season. Though his career was brief, he is part of the early history of the franchise.
